p_greene opal looks sick need to try that, what the deal/difference that you dig about it from other sequencers ?

cameronmorse i think it’s more about the simplicity and maleability of the engines within the drum synth itself moreso than the sequencer
tbh the seq is a bit limited (as far as I know you can’t put swing on it) but i’ve ended up with very good Monomachine / Machinedrum / OP-1 type percussions over the past couple months

Just had Arturia in the office. If anyone wants any software from them… lemme know. They have a nice 303 emulator coming in a couple months etc etc.

        domluckyme yes !
I have most of their analog synth vst things
If there’s a way to bless w the Sound Explorers Collection for some of the Augmented stuff and the FX…….. wouldn’t say no

and yeah…. MiniBrute2s for the team lol

        I second that

Actually has anyone messed about with the Drumbrute?

          curious to
i find that any hardware drum instrument, no matter how good, only good a tiny bit of use from me… unfortunately forever addicted to Midi Gridding my drum sounds 🙁

Same but trying to get back into doing some “off the computer” programming/resampling etc. Ive got Bobbys MPC 2000 just now and while a bit laborious Its def been fun. Not trying to be some mad hardware purist tho 🙂

thefinest yeah tbh i know exactly what u mean and sometimes even for a slightly weirder percussion layer the hardware stuff can come in clutch
finally have an Elektron in via J and considering getting a Model:Cycles (essentially a really really really budget drumsynth like a machinedrum) for doing that kinda stuff
